Dear Students,
When choosing your modules, some of you may have been aware that a small number of modules were not able to be selected as part of your first choice requested modules in MySIS, but then may have appeared in the reserve choice selection lists.
Modules that we are aware of not showing up in some MySIS pots are:
· COM5008 German Thought I: Marx, Nietzsche, Freud (15 Credits, Semester B, Level 5)
· FLM014 The French New Wave (15 credits, Semester A, Level 5)
· FLM5212 Film Futures: Professional Development (15 credits, Semester B, Level 5)
· FLM508 Memories of the Holocaust and Colonialism in French Cinema (15 credits, Semester A, Level 5)
· FRE6001 Photography the Self and its Image (15 credits, Semester A, Level 6)
· FRE6053 From Louvre to Louvre: Memory, History and 'Patrimoine' in the French Museum (15 credits, Semester B, Level 6)
· LIN5202 Research Methods in Linguistics (15 credits, SemesterB, Level 5) - more specifically for Hispanic Studies and Linguistics students who should be progressing to their 2nd year of study in 2023-24.
If you were affected by this issue and would like to update your requested first choice modules to include one of the modules above, you will need to email us (sllf-module-reg@qmul.ac.uk) by the end of Friday 14th April 2023, the following information:
1) The module you wish to take from the above list.
2) The module you wish to replace.
Please ensure that your request meets your programme regulations (these are available on the SLLF Module Registration QMPlus page) and that any request still means your modules will be balance equally across both semesters.
